.The Dunn Baby Club will help prepare you for your special delivery. With your membership Dunn Babies Club will deliver:

- Free camera with lifetime supply of film.

The obstetrical program at Dunn Memorial Hospital is family-oriented and designed to be "family friendly."
The BirthPlace at Dunn Memorial Hospital offers "single room maternity" suites. It looks and feels much more like home than a traditional hospital. Here, the entire childbirth experience takes place in your private room with your family and friends by your side. Included in the suites are a birthing bed, whirlpool tub, rocking chair, sleeping chair for overnight guests and state-of-the-art equipment.
The BirthPlace offers family-friendly practices from the moment of birth until time to go home. Families are welcome to be included in the birth process as much as the new family wishes. The new baby is welcomed into the world in a spacious and home-like birthing room. Your baby will stay close to you from the moment of birth... all the beautiful things that happen when your baby is born will happen at your bedside. Babies may stay with the parents in the mother's room as much as desired by the new mom or returned to the nursery for the nursery nurse to watch while mom gets some well-deserved rest.

Once you choose The BirthPlace to deliver you can call 812.276.1285 to pre-register. We want your experience at The BirthPlace to be hassle free and complete with great memories of your special delivery.
The BirthPlace Learning Center
The birthplace education program at Dunn Memorial Hospital is designed to prepare couples for childbirth and parenthood. We want to welcome families, encouraging involvement each step of the way. Our physicians care for our patients one on one and our nurses will continue this individual attention throughout your childbirth experience. Our programs will meet your educational needs during pregnancy and through out your early parenthood phase.
The classes will assist you in learning about your options and help you make informed decisions about your childbirth experience. In addition, you will be more comfortable in caring for your newborn and be prepared to be a confident parent.
