DMH Ambulance Service
Our ambulance service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from two locations, Bedford and Mitchell. Dunn Memorial Hospital provides total emergency care staffed by skilled Critical Care Paramedics, ALS-Paramedics, Intermediate and Basic Emergency Medical Technicians. Our services offer 4WD capabilities, plus is an integral component of our Chest Pain Center in the field.
Emergency Department
Staffed around the clock by a physician and specially trained critical care personnel, the Emergency Department is fully equipped to treat all types of emergency situations. Our practices are also fully accredited by The Society of Chest Pain Centers, ensuring you receive the best treatment for heart attacks in the immediate area.
The department includes major and minor treatment rooms, several exam rooms including an OB/GYN room, an Orthopedics and cast room along with an Ear, Nose and Throat room. We have a room designed for special isolation cases, a consultation room to provide privacy to families when needed, as well as a covered ambulance entrance and family waiting area. Our goal is to provide quality care to the patient and their family.
